Sype 016 is built around steel triangles arranged in different orientations. Their overlapping planes fragment the form and create a composition that changes according to the viewing angle. Light slips between the surfaces, highlighting some edges while allowing others to disappear, giving this rigorous geometry a sense of movement.

Sype's Thoughts
With Dance of Angles, I wanted to begin with a very rigorous form—the triangle—and then break that rigidity by multiplying its orientations. The steel plates intersect, conceal and respond to one another until an apparent disorder eventually finds its own balance. Light then reveals the spaces between the forms, bringing movement to a structure that remains physically still.
