Sype 019 – Veil of Light combines a curved veil of oxidized steel with a central H-section mounted on a manually rotating axis. By turning this inner volume, the light source can be revealed, filtered or partially concealed.

The movable core of Veil of Light allows the presence of the light source to be modulated. Between shadow and revelation, the sculpture changes character according to the orientation of its central core.
Sype's Thoughts
With Veil of Light, I wanted to create a sculpture capable of changing its presence without changing its form.
